Bytes and Bites

For those who have read this blog and have any interest in hearing me preach (which I know may be no one at all!), I've finally figured out a way to make that happen. The sermon of the week at our church is generally posted on our church's blog, and as I've preached twice in the past three weeks, you'll find both of my sermons still there. These two sermons are part of a six-week sermon series called "It's Complicated", which we've just wrapped up at our church.

To listen, go here, and under the "Listen to Sermon Only" section, scroll down to either "David and Michal" or "Esther and Persia".

And then, if you like, let me know what you think. They were ridiculously enjoyable to prepare for and preach (well, Esther was...David and Michal was good too, but just remarkably painful given the subject matter).

As a side note, we just finished celebrating Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. We enjoyed ham and sweet potatoes, cranberries, stuffing and pie with good friends right here in Vancouver. T'was lovely, and a good way to celebrate the many things for which I am grateful to God. So happy belated Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! And to all my American friends and family: looking forward to Round 2 in November!
